Bakes For Bangladesh 2022

Alhamdulillah! With the help of everybody we successfully raised £120 for the most needy in Bangladesh. This was donated through Ummah Welfare Trust, ensuring all 100% of the donation goes towards helping the less fortunate in Bangladesh.

In 2020 we successfully completed a campaign called “Slices For Syria”, to help the less fortunate in Syria. Now this year, we are happy to announce our 2022 campaign called “Bakes for Bangladesh” , where 20% of our profits from our 2022 Ramadan menu will be donated to help aid the less fortunate in Bangladesh, by providing water wells and sponsoring widows and orphans to better qualities of life. We're pleased to announce that this Ramadan we will be hand delivering your orders across the majority of Greater London, Essex and Romford. In addition to this, for the FIRST TIME our Tea Time Box is also available for postage across the whole mainland UK.

As you may notice we did not campaign in 2021 as it was a very difficult year for myself due to losing my father. With time it has healed and with the power of Allah (SWT) I was able to get back on my feet and continue creating scrumptious bakes for you all!

I personally have chosen this campaign this year as it allows me to reflect on my late fathers upbringing and how much we take our easy lives for granted. My late father struggled in his homeland of Bangladesh. Because of this he had to work from a very young age, away from home in another country in order to provide food and a better way of life for his family in Bangladesh. I personally would like to take this opportunity to donate 20% of all our revenue this Ramadan to aid the families in Bangladesh who struggle to eat, drink and pay for their basic needs. It is easy to get used to the way we live, with all our essentials and even more taken care of. However, let us not forget about the sacrifices of many people like my father had to make in order for this to happen for us.

Let’s work together this Ramadan to appreciate what we have and give back.
